Day 2 TINGHIR – MERZOUGA – SAHARA DESERT

After breakfast, we continue our Marrakech to Fes desert tour, heading to the spectacular Todra Gorge (the highest oasis in Morocco). This stunning gorge is carved into the ochre-colored cliffs of the High Atlas, with walls reaching up to 300 meters high and narrowing to just 20 meters apart in places. The landscape is absolutely beautiful, and the sky is a brilliant blue. The area is also a popular spot for climbing, with routes suitable for all levels, featuring good bolt and anchor placement.

After lunch, we make our way toward Tinjdad to explore the Khettara, an ancient underground canal system once used for irrigation. This is a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s history.

Continuing on our Morocco desert tour, we arrive in Merzouga, home to the highest dunes in North Africa, known as the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. Along the way, we pass through oases like the Oasis of Tinjdad and travel through the Ziz Oasis, surrounded by the palm trees of Ziz-Tafilalet. After reaching Rissani, we’ll make our way through the verdant oasis before arriving in Merzouga. Here, you'll embark on a camel ride, an unforgettable adventure through the vast sand dunes of the Sahara. As part of your 3 days trip Marrakech to Fes desert tour, you'll have the chance to capture the beauty of the desert at sunset and sunrise.

We’ll spend the night in a Nomad Tent at an equipped desert camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and breakfast. This is the perfect chance to experience the serenity of the Sahara desert under a blanket of stars, as part of your Marrakech to Fes desert tour adventure.

Day 3 MERZOUGA – MIDELT – IFRAN – FES

You will wake up early to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, which is possibly the best moment of the Merzouga desert during your Marrakech to Fes desert tour. After breakfast, we make our way toward Fes, traveling through the stunning Ziz Valley, famous for its panoramic views of palm trees. This is a perfect spot for photographs as part of your Morocco desert tour.

Next, we head to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you'll see a playful colony of monkeys along the road, offering a fun and amusing break.

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs with stops for coffee, lunch, and photographs as we travel through forests, valleys, and mountains. On the way, we will reach Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its pristine beauty.
